RSM Cyprus proudly announces the appointment of Marios Charalambides as Partner and Head of Financial Services. RSM Cyprus will continue investing significantly in enriching its talented human capital.
As of 12 September 2022, Marios Charalambides joined RSM Cyprus as a new Partner and Head of Financial Services.
Marios Charalambides has over 20 years of professional experience with specialisation in the financial services industry. During his career, he led numerous external audit assignments for private and public companies, ranging in size and complexity, in Cyprus and abroad (i.e. banking institutions, brokerage companies, electronic money and payment institutions, investment firms and funds). Additionally, he has practical experience in regulated companies because of his role as Chief Financial Officer in a similar organisation. He was also involved in several advisory projects on risk management, control and governance. Lastly, he was the leader of the Blockchain and Crypto Team of a Big4 firm in Cyprus.
As Partner and Head of Financial Services of RSM Cyprus, Marios will further enhance the financial services offering to our clients. Specifically, he will create a “one-stop-shop” service package for Funds and Fund Managers by assisting with the fund set-up, regulatory support, compliance services, and general advisory assistance. Furthermore, he will focus on providing tailored advisory to regulated businesses in Cyprus (investment firms, electronic money companies, payment institutions, crypto and blockchain set-ups).
