Global financial, a highly regarded international financial publication, including Hellenic Bank on its list of the Best Banks of Western Europe for 2023.
The only bank from Cyprus was Hellenic Bank, while Spain’s CaixaBank was named the region’s overall champion.
The Best Islamic Financial Institutions and the World’s Best Banks by Region will be highlighted in Global Finance magazine’s May issue, according to the publication. Additionally, Global Finance will soon identify and publish the Best Banks by US Region.
A comprehensive report on the choices will be available online at GFMag.com and in the May print and digital issues of Global Finance. More than 150 nations and territories in Africa, Asia-Pacific, the Caribbean, and Central America have selected winners.
Global Finance claimed that in choosing these top banks, it took into account variables “that ranged from the quantitative objective to the informed subjective.”
The following objective factors were taken into consideration: asset growth, profitability, geographic reach, strategic alliances, new business development, and product innovation. The opinions of equities analysts, credit rating experts, banking consultants, and other professionals in the field were included as subjective criteria.
“After extensive discussions with corporate financial executives, bankers and banking experts, and analysts throughout the world, all picks were determined by the editors of Global Finance. Additionally, banks were urged to submit materials that supported their choice, according to the announcement.
Global Finance stated that the banks that attentively adhered to their clients’ demands in challenging markets and achieved great results while laying the groundwork for future success are the recipients of this year’s awards. In view of the rapidly shifting interest rate situations, winning organizations wisely handled their assets and liabilities.
Along with the Best Global Banks in more than a dozen important categories, the overall Best Bank in the World will be revealed in the summer and published in October.
The honor was appreciated by Hellenic Bank.
