Emergo Wealth has officially launched its exclusive Emergo Internship Programme (EIP) in investment services, a corporate internship programme aimed at providing training for young financial service professionals with a view to their becoming employed full time in the financial services industry.
According to the firm, EIP offers on-the-job training in a broad range of specialties, including corporate finance advisory, investment management, fund administration and accounting, provident fund operation, brokerage and financial research and analysis.
Depending on the time and level of commitment, during their term with Emergo, residents may inter alia achieve certification status with the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission and complete some or all of the levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification.
Qualified applicants are not required to have experience in the sector but must possess “a keen desire to learn and the willingness to go the extra mile in achieving their goals,” an Emergo release states, further clarifying that proficiency in English and one other language is essential.
The programme will accept both graduates and undergraduates, not necessarily from the finance field, for a minimum internship term of 10 weeks. A resident will work temporarily on entry-level operational tasks as well as advisory activities, while receiving training in the financial services sector.
Successful candidates will receive remuneration commensurate with their credentials and level of experience and they will have the opportunity to compete for a permanent appointment with the Emergo Group.
