The 13th Nicosia Economic Congress will be held at the Hilton Nicosia earlier today to look at the present status of the Cyprus economy and its future possibilities.
President Nikos Christodoulides will speak at today’s Congress, one of the most important annual gatherings of over 300 senior executives, entrepreneurs, economists, academics, and government officials. He will present his vision of Cyprus as a model state that encourages entrepreneurship, attracts investment, and provides a high standard of living for its citizens.

Four government ministers – George Papanastasiou, Minister of Energy, Commerce & Industry; Yiannis Panayiotou, Minister of Labor & Social Insurance; Philippos Hadjizacharias, Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation & Digital Policy; and Anna Koukkides-Procopiou, Minister of Justice & Public Order – as well as Takis Clerides, President, Economic and Comptroller General of Cyprus, and Constantinos Herodo will be among the speakers.

Three panel discussions on topics such as the difficulties facing the labor market, the digitalization of the Cypriot economy, and ensuring a quicker and more effective delivery of justice will also be part of the Congress.
Language:
Greek will be used for the Congress’s discussions. There will be simultaneous English translation available.
