Important Update: Clarifying IR1 Submission Requirements

IR1 submission requirements

Below announcement clarifies the tax registration process for employees and individuals, specifically regarding the IR1 submission requirements.

Individuals registered with the tax authorities are not required to submit the IR1 form if their income does not exceed the threshold of €19,500. Consequently, if you receive an email from Taxisnet prompting you to submit the IR1 by a certain deadline, you can disregard this notification as long as your income remains below the specified threshold.

While it is now mandatory for all employees and individuals to register and obtain a Tax Identification Code (TIC), the submission of the Income Tax Form IR1 is only compulsory for those whose income exceeds €19,500.

If you have any questions or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to our network of highly qualified financial service providers available through our portal >>.
