Cyprus – The Department of the Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property invites all companies, European public limited liability companies, Cooperatives, and their officers/partners, to register the details and information of their beneficial owners in the Register maintained by the Department until 30 September 2023.
Upon initiation of the final solution, an additional time of one (1) month will be allowed to confirm and complete the data entered in the system and both requests for disclosures and due diligence reasons must also be submitted.
At the end of the period of one (1) month, fines will be automatically imposed amounting to two hundred euros (€200) in case of non-compliance, an additional charge of one hundred euros (€100) for each day of continuation of the violation, and a maximum total charge of twenty thousand euros (€20.000).
