The number of old and used vehicles registered in Cyprus continued to fall steeply in May, reaching 4,496, a drop of 30.7% compared with May 2008.
In January – May, total registrations of motor vehicles decreased by 23.0% to 22,275, from 28,939 in January – May 2008.
Registrations of private saloon cars in this period decreased by 21.6% to 16,421 from 20,937 in January – May 2008.
